Lamb Contract

Lamb is sold by the animal according to the following contract:

1) Choose the size of lamb. All are 6 months old and grass fed on our organic farm pastures. Lambs are sold by weight at $5/lb.

- Rams have a minimum hanging weight of 40#

- Ewes have a minimum hanging weight of 30#

2) Reserve your lamb by sending a check payable to Robin Mallor to the following address:

Three Roods Farm

4281 Our Acres Drive

Columbiaville, Mi  48421

810-793-2511

- Rams: $200

- Ewes: $150

3) Your lamb will be delivered to McNee’s Meats in October for processing. We will notify you of the delivery date. Then you call them and instruct them on how you want it cut. They will explain the cutting options.  Pay them a $50 butchering fee when you pick up your meat.

McNees Meats

6267 Old State Road

North Branch, Mi  48461

810-688-2408

4) Note the ‘hanging weight’ of your lamb at the time of pick up. If it is less than 30# for a ewe or 40# for a ram, we will rebate the difference to you at $5/lb.  If it is more, you keep the difference.

Hi, I’m a fan of your farm via your son. :) I was wondering if you are able to ship honey here in Michigan, as I am on the other side of the state and not likely to make it over that way. You can see my email, so please feel free to write me and let me know if it’s possible and what the additional cost would be. Thank you.
